This Safari takes you to the very best stunning Tanzania national parks with abundance of wildlife and birds, this tour takes you to the northern circuit destination visiting the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1: Arusha

On this day you will arrive in Arusha, a city located at the base of mt. Meru with about a population of over half a million people.

Being closer to the northern natural attractions of the country it is often called safari capital of Tanzania. It is a bustling city filled with an interesting markets, old colonial buildings and modern conveniences like coffee shops and an array of great restaurants.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Travel from Arusha at 8.00am to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephants of up to 3500, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world!  The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. You will enjoy game drive and game viewing with picnic lunch.

A drive of about 2 hours from tarangire National Park will lead you to your lodge located at a small town Karatu which is a gateway to all major national parks in the norther circuit.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

The activities of this day will start very early in the morning after a Breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro crater where we will descend down to the crater floor for tracking game with your guide. The crater is 600m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera on earth. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes) and more other animals such as hippos, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, jackals, warthogs and spotted hyena, there are more than 30,000 animals within the Crater ecosystem and different species of birds. You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site in the crater while enjoying the view of the crater floor.

Immediately after 4 pm you will begin the ascend out of the crater heading back to our lodge in Karatu for evening at leisure.

Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro conservation area authority with numerous stopovers at viewpoint overlooking the crater, Olduvai Gorge an archaeological site. On crossing the Naabi Hill gate lunch will be served at the picnic site followed by game viewing en route to central Serengeti

Day 5: Full day in Serengeti National Park

You have a full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; We’ll explore the Serengeti savanna and open grass land. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions, cheetah, leopards, hippos, crocodiles and many more as well as huge amounts of interesting birdlife, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich.

Day 6: Game drive in Serengeti National Park

Today you will leave early in the morning at around 6:30 for morning game drive you will have opportunity to witness early activity of the animals in park and sunrise if weather permits. Our experienced guides will choose the best spotting locations for game drive. We will return for hot lunch at our camp then we will have little siesta at the camp. We will start again for afternoon game drive at around 3:00pm up until 6:00pm when we return to camp to enjoy campfire and sundown drink.

Day 7: Serengeti Plains – Lake Manyara National Park.

On this day you will have a half day game drive in the Serengeti then later proceed driving to Lake Manyara escarpment with a chance of visiting Masai Villages to experience their daily lives and their beautiful Culture.

Day 8: Lake Manyara–Arusha- Departure

After breakfast at our lodge you will embark on a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park located approximately 30 minutes away. This Park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country and very unique in its lush groundwater forest. The Lake covers two-thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley This superb scenic park is most famous for its tree climbing Lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos.

After the conclusion of our half day in Park we will head back to Arusha for outbound flight.
